1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Events @ The Cube website (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Events @ The Cube is an event booking and ticketing platform operated by The Cube Innovation Hub. We provide information about events, workshops, hackathons, and networking mixers, and facilitate ticket bookings and registrations.

3. User Accounts & Registration

To register for events or purchase tickets, you may be required to provide certain information. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account information
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Event Tickets & Payments

  • Tickets are subject to availability and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis
  • All prices are listed in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless stated otherwise
  • Payment is processed via M-Pesa or other specified payment methods
  • Ticket purchases are final and non-refundable unless the event is cancelled
  • In case of event cancellation, ticket holders will be notified and refunded
  • We reserve the right to limit the number of tickets per person

5. Event Attendance

  • Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly allowed for a specific event
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone violating event rules
  • Attendees must follow all venue rules and safety guidelines
  • By attending, you consent to photography and video recording at events
  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen items at events

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Upload or transmit harmful code or malware
  • Engage in any activity that compromises security

7. Intellectual Property

The content, design, and materials on this website, including logos, text, images, and software, are owned by The Cube Innovation Hub or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Cube Innovation Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service or attendance at events. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

9. Cancellation Policy

  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events at any time
  • In case of cancellation by us, you will receive a full refund
  • We are not liable for any expenses incurred due to cancellation (travel, accommodation, etc.)
  • Events may be cancelled due to insufficient registration, force majeure, or other circumstances

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Eldoret, Kenya.
